 Fujikura OPTICAL FIBER IDENTIFIER  FID-30R / FID-31R

These specifications cover the optical fiber identifier, FID-30R and FID-31R, which is used for identifying of the light power presence in the optical fiber.

The FID-30R / FID-31R have the detector potion consist of two photo sensors for detecting light signal direction and a plunger, which is for clamping the fiber to be identified. The plunger forms macro-bending of the fiber for obtaining the leak light, which will be detected by the photo sensors in the unit. The unit can detect the presence of several kinds of light signal and ONU signal and indicate their directions.

FID-30R is the succeeding model of FID-25R which has power meter function, while FID-31R is the replacement model for FID-26R, a standard model with no power meter function.
