Operation of the machine

Each machine shall have its own pumping system to connect the machine with the main/buffer tank of the product. The volume to be filled is measured by the measuring system which consists of multi piston positive displacement volumetric devices. The flow of liquid is measured and converted into electronic pulses by digital encoders and controlled by reputed make of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller).

Facility is provided for each nozzle to set fast flow “cut-off” and “final flow cut-off” with the interval between the two to be decided on the basis of filling speed and volume to be filled. Volumes can be preset for each nozzles with increments of 1 ml upto 5 litres. All settings can be done on the HMI (Human Machine Interface) keypad which is provided on the control panel.

Filling Speed

The estimated filling speed of the machine is as follows :

500ml @ 28-32 fills per minute

1 litre   @ 28     fills per minute

5 litres @ 12     fills per minute

The above filling speeds are applicable for nozzles of 19mm f and container mouths of minimum 28mm f. Speed shall stand reduced for smaller mouth containers, product viscosity & foaming characteristics and temperature of product the time of filling.

The container should have 10% of empty volume space after filling the desired volume to get the estimated speed.

Drip Free

Absolutely “drip free” deliveries through specially designed nozzles. Ensures rapid recycling of sequence. Diving nozzle arrangement with drip tray provision.

Accurate

Sustained accuracy of filling, since positive displacement devices and high speed electronic processing circuits are used. Repeat accuracy of +/- 0.25% for the specified filling range can be achieved.
