Rubber adhesion tester/pull off tester
Test Mechanism:
RZN-II Rubber Adhesion Tester measures the adhesion with “pull-away” method after the unvulcanized rubber sheets have been contacted and pressed upon each other for a certain period of time.
When two unvulcanized rubber samples are pressed, their surface in close contact for some time, the polymer molecule diffuses from each other, and form measurable adhesion strength. By separating the samples, and recording the maximum force for separation (unit: N), the adhesion of the unvulcanized rubber sheets can be thus described.
The samples can be either unvulcanized rubber materials or cords/canvas that has been calendared.
