The Honeywell 5X80 barcode decoder module combines a compact, lightweight optical module and decoder board to deliver an easy-to-integrate decoding subsystem that is ideal for most data capture applications. The 5X80 image engine series features an industrial grade sensor with no moving parts to wear out, plus multiple focal distances and mounting options for easy integration into OEM devices. As part of Honeywell's fifth generation of OEM image scan engines, the 5X80 series is carefully designed based on years of industry knowledge.

The 5X80 family combines the latest CMOS industrial grade image sensor technology, illumination, and optics to create a compact, lightweight optical module capable of reading linear, stacked linear, and matrix bar codes like never before.  In addition, these images can read and decode OCR fonts and capture digital images.
