Important Note

Not all laptops can output audio signal by the Display port. Our adapter can't output audio when the DP port itself don't support the outputting.

From our selling experience, following laptops may not support audio outputting by the DP port:

Dell: precision T3500, Optiplex760/960

Lenovo: T440S, T500,W500, X301, X200

(for W510 please update the drive to edition 8.16 to output audio; the 8.17 can't do so for its own bug)

HP: DC7900

Hence, please confirm whether your laptop support audio outputting before bidding if you want such function.
