Product Description
Tempered glass also called toughened glass. It is produced a compression stress on the surface of glass use the method of chemistry or physics. It makes the glass have higher compression strength and hard to be damage. When glass offered the external stress, the compression stress bears offset part of tension stress, to avoid the broken of glass. Although the inside of tempered glass is at tension stress, it is flawless, and wont be damage so as to improve the strength of glass.
Tempered glass is the secondary processing production of flat glass. The processing of tempered glass can be divided into physical methods and chemical methods.
Tempered glass is high strength. Its compressive strength could be more than 125MPa. It is 4-5 times higher than normal glass. The tempered glass is also shockproof.. It is unwounded when a steel ball that is 0.8kg fall down it from 1.2m high.
