1.1 Brief Introduction

KB3091-F embedded 3G DTU(Data Terminal Unit) (Data Terminal Unit) is 3G(WCDMA) wireless data transmission module with stable performance, small volume and high cost performance which is advantageous to the user equipment and system integration. It is applicable to small and medium data transmitting of the center to multi-points, multi-points scatter. KB3091-F divided into European standard KB3091-FE and American standard KB3091-FA. The former is suitable for Europe, Asia, and other most of the national network, while the latter is applicable to the Americas including the United States.

1.2 Product Feature

l Standard industrial products, EMC anti-jamming design, strong adaptiveness.

l Embedded Watchdog chip, provide multiple Reset mechanism, can be controlled by software, achieve industrial security mechanism perfectly. 

l Advanced and strict data communication protocol, with the function of correction and encryption. Never lose package when data transmission.

l Powerful, supports two work modes: DTU (the default) system and MODEM, DTU mode for 3G data transmission mode, the user equipment serial data can be (RS232 / RS485 or TTL) sent to the server in the Internet; When using Modem mode, compatible with the standard AT command (3GPP TS27.007,27.005 and Quectel AT commands), the user can through his writing AT instruction set software to complete the required functionality.

l Automatic networking support multiple ways: with a serial port - network transformation KB2000 networking products, KB3091-F networking can also be used with KB3091-F type (convenient under the condition of no Internet use 3G), which can realize the one-to-one, one-to-many network;

l Plug and play function: when KB2000 or KB3091-F itself with the company network, at this time without any software hardware development, to build large-scale SCADA system;

l IP automatic registration system, which can realize a variety of service mode, build the complete super-large scale wireless application system;

l IO switch function: it is a two way switch quantity input, two way switch output 3G network or text messages to control switch quantity input or query the switch quantity input state.Can open the remote alarm and set alarm input method: 3G SMS alarm and alarm, and can be set up on alarm threshold (high level to low level alarm or alarm), in addition the user can customize the alarm information content;

l Powerful communication standby: If opens the backup service functions, the main server connection to the standby server can be automatically switch, once the main server problems, automatically connected to the standby server.

l Support fixed IP with dynamic DNS support, support for APN;
