WHAT ARE INSULATED SANDWICH PANELS?

Insulated Sandwich Panels (ISP) have been used for commercial construction in the past 50 years. Insulated Sandwich Panels (ISP) are made when three separate elements are “sandwiched together” to form one structure. The combined properties of the high tensile and compressive strength of the outer steel skins and the high shear strength of the inner core leads to a building material which has a much longer spanning capacity and is lighter in weight than traditional building materials.

The sandwich panels interlock simply, slipping easily into place, quickly locking panels tightly together to create a high performing and consistent insulation barrier protecting the home from variations in outside temperatures and humidity and maintaining a comfortable internal living environment.

The sandwich panel is up to 50% faster to install than conventional roofing including trusses and insulation. Large spans are achievable, reducing the need for support structures and enabling spacious living areas.
