Brief Description of Rock Wool / Mineral Wool Plate Plant

1. Raw Material Supply System

The raw materials are loaded to each of the designated hoppers by shovel loader then conveyed to conveyor with automatic weighing scale through the selection of vibrating feeder. After automatic weighing according to process requirement, the batched raw materials in the bucket when getting the charging signal are sent to the melting furnace.

2.  Melting System (Cupola Furnace)

The raw materials are melted in the cupola furnace. And the melt flows out from the below and side discharge hole, then through the fixed and unfixed launders in turn enters the four-roller centrifuge.

3.  Fiber Forming System

The melt lava flows onto the centrifuge from the movable inclined flow channel and fiberize under the combination of high speed centrifugal force and high speed air stream. Meanwhile, the phenolic resin and dust-absorbing oil are sprayed onto the fiber which is blown to the wool collecting chamber after separation.

4. Wool Collecting and Allocating System

The resin binded Rock wool are laid in the wool collecting chamber under the force of high press air flow. The waste gas generated during the wool collection is exhausted out. The wool collecting chamber operates with a regular speed and conveys the wool to the pendulum which stretches the wool to form into a certain thickness.

Pleating is a crimping machine which accepts and pressing the raw mineral wool felt from wool collecting and swing, and conveying it to pressing section. 

Pressing device is called pressure machine which is designed to further strengthen the raw felt come from the crimping machine. The product density is further improved, and then felt will go to the next process -curing oven.

This curing oven is one of our patents. It adopts durable and reliable two-layer structure and with high strength. It could be used to produce high density board. The patented chains for curing oven are durable and robust.

6.  Cutting System

It is controlled by computer, with a high cutting efficiency and innovative structure and design. 

7. Automatic Stacking & Packing System

The automatic stacking system could pile up and stack the boards after cutting and then convey to the packing machine.

The packing equipment adopts thermal shrinking packing and automatic film packing which is heated electrically. The temperature is automatically controlled.

A: We may send our engineer for installation and commissioning, but relevant cost will be paid by you. 

A: What is the difference between cupola furnace and tank furnace ?

Q: Generally, Cupola furnace use coal as the energy source while Tank furnace use Gas as energy source. To choose which solution is more cost-effective , you need to check your local price of coal and gas, for example our Russian customers tend to use Tank Furnace since they have very cheap gas energy, but our most domestic Chinese clients tend to use Cupola furnace since coal is very cheap in China. Also, some customers use electricity as the energy source since they can get free electricity. Thus, if you are considering the cost of the line, you need to check your local price of coal and gas.

So to summarize, if you use coal as energy source then you will choose cupola furnace, if you use gas then you choose tank furnace.
