1.  Characteristics:

l  One component, RTV-1, Neutral Curing at room temperature, flame retardant sealant for building;

l  Excellent antiflaming performance, reaching Grade FV-0; Cannot release dense smoke and poisonous gas when burning

l  Excellent weatherproofing performance, Excellent anti-ultraviolet proper;

l  No need to prime coated, excellent joint to most building material;

l  Neutral curing, no corrosive to metal, coated glass, concrete, ceramics, marble etc;

l  Excellent compatibility with other neutral silicone sealant

l  Antiflaming seal for decoration of waterproof, moistureproof  in public such as restaurant, hotel, theater;

l  Antiflaming seal with various glass windows and doors;

l  Seal and joint for various antiflaming doors and various flame retardant seal on curtain wall engineering;

l  Color: black, grey, others of special order

6. Restriction of Usage:

Cannot be used as structural sealant;

Not compatible with materials with grease or exudation;

Unsuitable for the airproof location, because it requires absorbing moisture in air to cure;

Unsuitable for the frosty or moist surface;

Unsuitable for the continually flooding or entire-year moist places;

Cannot be used on the substrate surface under 6℃or above 40℃

9. Safety

l  Silicone sealant will release volatile compound so that it could be harmful to health, therefore, please keep good and ventilate;

l  Silicone sealant will not release any harmful substance and not be harmful to health after cured;

l  Keep uncured silicone sealant beyond children’s reach. If getting into eyes, wash off with running water and consult a doctor;

11. Maintenance

l  Generally there is no need to repair. If the seal joint is damaged, please remove the damaged silicone sealant, clean the surface of substrates, and fill up with silicone sealant.

l  Girafe silicone sealants have good adhesion to cured sealant.

 The length of Girafe 938 Neutral Flame Retardant Sealant 300ml can be extruded during application.
