 Product Description

Based on 1550nm optical transmitter (IM), WS-50LTxxx style optical transmitter (EM) is researched which has

 high property, reliability and cost effective and is widely used in large and medium sized CATV 

trunk and distribution network, WDM system and CFG DCM system. It is important equipment of

 large and medium- sized CATV fiber transmission network.

According to different modulator, there is a little difference of transmission distance. Focus on Product cost,

WS-50LTxxA style, a style economically optical transmitter, adopts JDSU single fiber modulator to meet the

 demands of point to point transmission and SBS threshold within 16dBm (analog signal > 50km,digital signal >75km)  and can realize long distance amplification,  Which is the  ideal equipment  of second-grade service area of sub-station.

WS-50LTxxB style adopts OCLARO double fiber modulator to meet the demands of point to point transmission

 and SBSthreshold within 18dBm (analog signal >  75km,digital signal > 100km) and can realize  long distance amplification , which  solve the problem of trunk and distributiontransmission.

WS-50LTxxC style adopts JDSU double fiber modulator to meet the demands of point to point transmission

 and SBS threshold within 19dBm (analog signal >  100km,digital signal >150km) and  can realize  small  distortion of EDFA amplification and  long distance amplification,  which solve the problem  of trunk and distribution transmission.

Performance Characteristic

1. Equipped standard Ⅱ transponder, LCD blue screen in front panel standing 19” 1U standard case display various working data and breakdown information and realize network monitoring by web.

2. RF signal Perfect through CTB, CSO predistortion circuit ensure non-linear parameter perfect.

Narrow bandwidth (Type =1MHz),low noise, DFB continuous wave laser (USA original AOI laser ),LiNbo3 external modulator for signal modulation, excellent phase modulation technique ensure perfect performance indexes system of the COS to improve the input fiber power and increase the transmission distance.

3. Externally modulated technology for optical transmitter, no laser chirp, low dispersion distortion, high extinction ratio, with excellent characteristic within 40~862MHz in-band.

4. Built-in perfect and automatic monitoring circuit of microcomputer can realize real-time accurate monitor status of optical output power and extend the service life of the laser.

5. Plug-in dual power, 48V/220V optional

6. Excellent SBS Suppression circuit, +-0.05nm stepping adjustable in the range of threshold (13-18dBm) is applied in different network.

7. RF gain of AGC/MGC mode is optional at spot. OMI can be optimized at spot.

8. Perfect RS232 communication interface and SNMP network management realize backup and maintain which help customers repair.
