The wood cutting machine is used for wood processing industry which cut the diameter of thick trees into bulk material automatically in order to achieve convenient transportation and subsequent processing.

The feeding conveyor platform and toothed wheel conveyor are in front of wood cutting machine, length of wood is between 1500-3000mm and diameter is less than 400mm, trees should be placed on the platform side alignment when transported to the hydraulic motor in order to ensure the tooth roller can drive the trees to belt conveyor when the trees are on the toothed roller conveyer.

Wood cutting machine contains: conveying mechanism, cutting mechanism and Split mechanism. 

(1) With Hydraulic system: Compared with the motor, the hydraulic ’s advantage is that, hydraulic drive under the rotation, when it meet obstacles, the hydraulic motor will stop so it cannot be burned, but the motor always turning until burned. 

(2) Inhouse design, it is specially used in the wood chipping line for bigger diameter log with request of lower capacity. 

(3) Conveying mechanism adopts common belt conveyor (Belt under the pallet), manufactured by high quality structural steel, integral mounting rack, hydraulic motor powered 3.5 meters per minute trip, when the trees come from the external transport, they will run together to saw off position by the machine conveyor. 

(4) Main saw of sawing mechanism use traditional electric chain saw, rated input power is 2400W, rated voltage is 220V, rated frequency is 50HZ, chain line speed is 13.6m/s, maximum cutting length is 395mm, insulation protection class II/chapter. Complete machine is installed in the special holder, special protective cover, hydraulic cylinder and a bearing rotating pin device connected to the under part of support base. The specially designed stand and the stand reseller devices are manufactured by high quality structural steel. Electric chain saws would split trees by the oil cylinder when the trees move to the cutting position. 

(5) Wood cutting mechanism is composed of three parts: the chopper, the top parts and the fuel tanks. Chopper adopts high quality alloy tool steel, high strength heat-treated blade, mounted in front of the working chamber, the size of chopper can be replaced by demand. The top piece is manufactured with high quality structural steel which was fixed in the cylinder by screw thread; the cylinder is fixed behind the square in the working chamber. When trees are dropped in the working chamber after sawing, the cylinder begins to push up trees to the chopper by the top pieces. Use the chopper to split trees to requirements size.

The frame of square steel tube welding with high quality, the upper part of the machine frame sawing mechanism is arranged with a fixed protective cover, the upper part of the cavity is provided with protective cover.

Main technical parameters:

1. The length of whole appearance of size is 3.01 m, width is 1.06m, height is2.170m.

2. The maximum diameter of tree can be saw off is 400mm, the maximum length of tree can be saw off is 370mm.

3. Hydraulic station of hydraulic motor: Fuel tank capacity is 240L, motor 5.5KW / 50HZ/380V, pressure system is 6MPa, speed of flow system is 48L/min, working oil temperature is 10-60  degree centigrade , survice medium is 46 # anti-wear hydraulic oil.

4. Hydraulic station of hydraulic motor: Fuel tank capacity is 100L, motor 2.2KW / 50HZ/380V, pressure system is 6MPa, speed of flow system is 9L/min, working oil temperature is 10-60  degree centigrade , survice medium is 46# anti-wear hydraulic oil.

Installation: The wood chopping machine is a set of complete machine, the base is made by two square steel tube. Without mounting bolt holes, put it on flat ground horizontally to use, customer can make out their requirements when ordering, the centerline should be directed at the longitudinal centerline of feeding conveyor platform.
