Thank you for purchasing our separated series solar water heater. In the future, our product provides not only continuous hot water, but also enjoyment of clean energy to you. For your safe operation, please read the manual carefully before you operate the system, and follow the steps listed below.

1. The pipes for the system connection must be high temperature resistant material (120C) and withstanding pressure material (0.7Mpa).

2. Before using the system, check whether the electric power and wiring are suitable for the power of the system.

3. The auxiliary electric heater must be of reliable grounding. Forbid to use it without reliable grounding, and connect the earth wire to the naught wire or tap water pipe is also prohibited.

4. When water temperature is higher than 50C, it may burn the skin. So you could use water after the hot water is mixed with the cold water.

5. For your safety, you should cut off the power of auxiliary electric heater before you use hot water. And it’s prohibited that you start the electric heater when the tank is not full of water, because it may damage the solar water heater.

6. When you use the auxiliary electric heater to heat the water, do not close operating arm of cold-water valve, for fear that the safety valve and valve seat get jammed to cause danger.

7. The power plug must be avoided getting wet.

Special Remark:

Before you install, use or maintain the system, please read this manual carefully, and operate following the steps of the manual. Furthermore, keep it well for future reference.

Function and Main Characteristics

1. The hot water circulation system (collector and water tank) is automatically on/off based on double temperature difference (starting temperature difference and stopping temperature difference).

2. You could set temperature difference (collector and water tank) parameters of starting and stopping circulating pump.

3. The anti-frozen function guarantees the normal running of the system in winter.

4. The digital displays the temperature of collector and water tank.

5. The automatic memory function guarantees the setting parameters kept.

Requirements for Environment in Usage

1) Altitude is no more than 3500m;

2) Indoor air humidity requirement for controller usage ≤95%;

3) The pressure for water inlet ≥0.1Mpa;

Installation Specification

1)  Tank Installation

The water tank is the special one for solar water heater with electric heater. Do follow the picture (Diagram of the Water Tank Connection) to install the water tank.

2) Solar Collector Installation

Be attention to do as following requirements:

Intensity to bear weight of balcony (wall, roof) must be ≥80kg/m².

3) Pipe Connection (Follow the Diagram of the System)

To connect the pipe according to the picture, place the one-way valve in water inlet, and place the safety valve in the interface of upper tank. Make sure that the inflow pipe is placed in water outlet safely. In the south it is important to have the pipe covered 20mm anti-frozen materials, and in the north anti-frozen materials should be thickened (advise to use PE material, 30mm thickness).

Notice:

lTo decrease bending of circulating pipe between the solar collector and water tank, the shortest distance is the best.

l The height difference between solar collector and water tank is no more than ten meters while installing. But, the exhaust valve of the heating collector must be installed on the top of the outlet pipe of the solar collector.
