The phenolic foam is a new materal that has high closed cell rate. It is fire resistant,thermal insulation,water-proofing and envirnmentally friendly.
The pehnolic foam can be used in the insulated ductwork system.The phenolic foam pre-insulated ductwork has been widely used in hospital,hotel,market,supermarket,school,office and large plant.
Advantages compared to traditional insulated sheet metal ductwork:
Do it in one time,on lag insulation required,save the labor and cost.
Save the building space.
Very light,decrease the total weight of the building.
Little air leakage by the flange joint connecting.
Low thermal conductivity,no condensation and energy saving.
Closed cell,good acoustic insulation.
Fire proof,no smoke when exposing to fire.
Faced with aluminium foil,it's water proof and anti-microbial.
CFC and HCFC free,environmental friendly.
