3)     Product installations

The product connects with the mobile terminals like mobile phones, tablet PC via wireless interface (Bluetooth or WIFI interfaces).

The product connects also with computer PC via USB interface.

4)     Installation methods

The wireless fingerprint reader can be charged with the USB adapter charger or with the computer. Here is the illustration of the system:

Solution 1: the fingerprint reader connects with the computer via data wires.

Solution 2: the fingerprint reader connects with android mobile platform via Bluetooth.

Solution 3: the WIFI of fingerprint reader works as hot spot to connect with mobile platform (such as android, IOS cell phone) through WIFI interface.

Solution 4: the fingerprint reader and the mobile platforms (such as Android ISO platforms) connect together to the wireless router through WIFI interface.

5)     Using products

a)       Setup of wireless fingerprint reader

During the first time to use the wireless fingerprint reader, the fingerprint reader should be connected with the computer through wire cable to configure the setup of Bluetooth or WIFI. Here are the configurations:

1)     Bluetooth setup:

a)       Connect the fingerprint reader with the USB interface on PC. Run the corresponding software.

b)      Click on “get the Bluetooth name”. It finds out the default name of Bluetooth.

c)       Click on “set the Bluetooth name”. This modifies the default name into customized name. The length of the name is 8 characters.

d)      Open the function of Bluetooth inside Android terminal device. Search automatically and find the name. Input the default password “1234”. It should be connected successfully.

2)     WIFI configuration

WIFI configuration works with two modes: hot spot mode; none host spot mode to the WIFI router.

a)       Wireless fingerprint reader works as hotspot

Here are the steps to make configuration:

Connect the fingerprint reader with the USB interface on the computer through wire cable. Run the corresponding software.

Inside “SSID” column, input the name of fingerprint reader, such as “mixais”

Inside “password” column, input the password.

Open the WIFI function of mobile platform (such as android, IOS cell phone). Scan the network and find the name of fingerprint reader (miaxis), input password and make the connection.

b)      Wireless fingerprint reader connects through wireless router.

When the wireless fingerprint reader works at none-hot spot mode, the fingerprint reader and the mobile platform can be connected together via wireless router. Here are the steps to do configurations:

Connect the fingerprint reader with USB interface through wire cable. Run the corresponding software.

Input the name of wireless router inside “SSID” column, such as “WfMiaxis”.

Input the password inside “password column.

Open the WIFI function of the mobile platform (android or ISO platforms). Find the name of “WfMiaxis”, and input the password for connection.

6)     LED indicator of fingerprint reader

During the switch on/off, the red, green LED lights flash alternatively. It makes three loops with 200ms on respectively.

During the charging battery, the red light is on always.

If the battery has the power shortage, the red light flashes (200ms on, 2s off)

During the working mode, the green led is on always.

Indicating to press the fingerprint, the green light flashes (200ms on, 500ms off).
