Properties of UHMWPE Bars :

1. Wear-resistant

UHMWPE material has the best performance of wear-resistance among the plastics, and the higher of molecular, the better of wear-resistance and impact-resistance.   

2. Impact Strength
UHMWPE material has the best performance of impact-resistant among all the plastics, with very high impact strength even under the temperature of -70ºC.

3. Self-lubricate  & non-stick & non adhesion

4. low Water absorption
Water absorption is extremely low for UHMPE material. So, the Physical and chemical properties are not influenced by the wet conditions. 

5. Good corrosion-resistance
UHMWPE has good chemical property, is resistant to acid, alkaline, salt like corrosive fluid and organic solvent in certain temperature and density.

6. Health and non-toxic
UHMWPE is odorless, non-toxic, non-corrosive in itself, has physical and physiological adaptation circular, which is allowed to touch directly with food and medicine by FDA and USDA. So it could be used in the special area that has strict requirements on health.

 
7. Cold resistance
Brittle temperature drops to -140º C when the molecular weight is over 0.5million. Under the effect of liquid nitrogen, , the UHMWPE still has a certain degree of mechanical strength when the working temperature can reach below -º Cº C.
