Brief introduction 

Flotation column is a new type of flotation equipment in the mining beneficiation field, learning from column flotation and absorbing the technology of cavitation makes it suitable for fine particle flotation by making lots of submicron particle size bubble. The way of middling circulating assures highly efficient recovery of target minerals.

The equipment cancels the rotor, stator and transmission part of traditional mechanical flotation machine, slurry pump as its power unit, and produces jet under its  pressure slurry, then  self-suction  air, so the pressure slurry and submicron bubble suitable for fine flotation are in high mineralization in the pipe, thus it can effectively increase the fine mineral flotation speed, realize the efficient flotation recovery of fine mineral.

Structure characteristics & technical innovation

1)    Firstly, the enrichment  ratio of equipment is high, the single device can replace multiple operation of mechanical agitation flotation machine; its unit area processing ability is 3-5 times to mechanical agitation flotation machine.

2)    Secondly, the moving part of the cell is slurry pump and the usage of frequency conversion technology is to reduce energy consumption by10%-30%.

3)   Cancel "rotor", "stator" and driving mechanism of the mechanical agitation flotation machine. It has simple structure, convenient operation maintenance, smaller area occupied, lower expenses and energy consumption.

4)    It realizes the automatic control for the height of flotation foam layer, and reduces the labor intensity, which is beneficial to the stability of the production process.

5)    It realizes  the  bubble precipitation from hydrophobic mineral particle surface, strengthens the mineral particle and bubble effective adhesion, increases the particle and bubble adhesion probability; to strengthen the efficient recovery of objective mineral      through the "jet technology" and " mineralization in the pipe".
