HY-3 organic bentonite is a kind of new type organic clay with the properties of easy dispersion and high thixotropy. It can be used in low to medium and part of high polarity system. The high-speed shearing dispersion just need very small amount of activator. It has excellent properties of anti-sediment and anti-sagging.

HY-3 can be dispersed at normal temperature in organic solvent and resin system, it can increase the visicosity of the system and has a property of thixotropy, and high speed shearing equipments and polarity activator are necessary to have the best dispersing effectiveness. HY-3 needs polarity activator to make it fully dispersed, the applicable polarity activators are as follows:carbinol/water (95/5) , ethanol/water(95/5) and acetone.The amount added of polarity activators can be adjusted according to the systems. Generally speak, the appliable amount is 20-40% of the total weight of organic bentonite. The add method of the products are pre-gel method and powder method which can be confirmed by the customers' test.
