HY-738B is a kind of modified rheological additive with high efficiency of gelling and thixotropy.It can be used in low to medium polar systems.

High viscosity:It has high gelling viscosity and thixotropy in low to medium polar solvent systems or resin systems.

Easy to disperse:under the effect of appropriate amount of polar activator,HY-738B has fast speed of dispersion and gelation,and small dispersing fineness.

anti-sediment:HY-738B has the property of anti-sediment in the system.

Use method:

HY-738B can disperse at normal atmospheric temperature.It is better to be used as pre-gel.It should be added before grinding you products(such as paints,pigments,coating etc.).To get the best dispersion effect,it is best to use high-shearing device.HY-738B needs polar activator to be fully dispersed.The available polar activators are as follows:propylene carbonate,methanol/water(95/5),ethanol/water(95/5) or acetone.The polar amount of polar activator can be adjusted according to different systems.Generally,the amount of polar activators is 30-50% of organic bentonite.

Dosage:

The amount of HY-738B is usually 0.2~3.0% of the system(by weight).
