1.  Introduction of mill grinding steel ball

2. Chemical composition of mill grinding steel ball 

Steel bars and their chemical composition:

It's high quality carbon/alloy steel bars(hot rolled or continuous cast in various specifications) that are used for making grinding media.The diameter of bars should be equal to the nominal diameter of hot rolled balls.Normally,the length of each bar is 2.5-4m.

Chemical compasition of steel bars used in our plant is as follows:

C:0.5~1.0%     Cr:0.5~3.5%  Si:0.4~2.0%  Mo:≤0.5%  Mn:0.7~2.5%  Ni: ≤0.5%

The above chemical composition is adjusted according to customer's requirement,or balls with special grade appointed by customers can be produced as well.

1) High hardness: Longteng forged grinding steel ball has high hardness: surface hardness can reach to 55-67 HRC, volume hardness 56-64 HRC

2) High Impact toughness: impact toughness is more than 15 J / cm².

3) Low Broken rate:  peel fragmentation resistance property of over 20000 times. The actual breakage rate is less than 1% and close to 0.
