RK-200A Battery Inner Resistance Tester

RK-200A Intelligent Inner Resistance Tester is used to measure the inner impedance of the battery and to measure the extent of damage to acidulated film of the battery, hereunder referred to the tester. The tester inputs 1KHz AC signal to the testing objects to measure the inner resistance by testing the current difference which differs from the principle of using the universal meter. Using the tester, the result got is in Milliohm, while it is in Ohm when using the universal meter. Moreover, the universal meter is only workable for testing the resistance of objects without power supply. However, the tester is workable for testing the resistance of objects which are both with power supply and without power supply. Therefore, the tester is not equal to the universal meter. The inner resistance scale is used to judge the deterioration of the battery. Generally, lower resistance means better capability. Therefore, it is the most effective and reliable way to test the battery by measuring its inner resistance

The most outstanding advantage of Intelligent Inner Resistance Equipment is that the test parameter range is allowed to be set. The microcomputer system will alarm automatically once the inner resistance is out of the test parameter range. This can help to avoid the fault due to misjudgment or misreading, therefore to ensure the quality of the products.

Safety working rules

For the sake of avoiding any damage to the equipment or the tested batteries, please follow the below rules strictly:

Before using the equipment, please firstly check if there is any rupture on the out housing of the equipment or any accessories missed. Especially pay attention to the insulation of the linker area.

2. Check whether the testing pin is electrified. Please exchange the testing pin if there is any damage or break before using the equipment.

3. The two testing pin on the same fixture can not touch each other for fear of short circuit.

4. Do not use this equipment under the circumstance of volatile gas, steam, acidity or dust.

5. When testing, ensure the inner resistance and the voltage of the battery within the test parameter range. Otherwise, the result will not be correct.  If the battery voltage exceeds the rated voltage (19.99V), short circuit will occur to the equipment.

6. Do not apply the equipment to any high voltage power supply (e.g. 220V or higher voltage power supply). Otherwise, take full responsibility for any subsequence.
