This type of gunwale usually fits over an edge where two surfaces meet together.

Most often used on sea going vessels, gunwale is used to protect the sides of boats and to secure different parts together.

Designed to suit 10-12mm edge at 25-50mm width on base.
This is a flexible PVC product which can accommodate various thicknesses.
The ribbed section in the middle of the gunwale is used to grip the edges and often does not need to be fixed into place using other means such as screws or adhesives.

Moulded rubber with a rounded finish, this push-on is made with teeth to give extra grip onto the hull.

Best mounted by leaving the rubber in the sun to soften and become pliable, and then fixing the rubber to the hull with a marine sealant , pushing on firmly.
