Heat and ice are passive, non-invasive, and non-addictive therapies. Heat and cold can be used alternatively and are often used as a prelude to exercise therapy.

Application:

Usage:

1. Cold compress: put the cold/hot packs into freezer to be refrigerated for half an hour before taking out for use or put it in the freezer for preparation.

2. Hot compress: 1. Wrap it in wet towel or cloth and put them into microwave oven to be warmed for 100 seconds for each time at medium power, and for 60 seconds in the second time if they are used continuously. 2. Put it in hot water of 80-90 Celsius degree about 4 minutes to suck heat and wipe the water outside the pack after it before use.

Note:

1. When you put it in microwave you should wrap it well in order that it will be damaged. 2. The ice packs can only be used for external medication. If eye or skin contacts the content, it must be washed by clean water thoroughly. If one eats the content by mistake, he must drink enough water, and try his best to vomit it.
