chemical resistance, resistance of oxidation at high temperature, wear resistance and low density (about 1/3 that of metal), 

therefore, it is gradually being used instead of expensive super alloy steel in the cases that metal material cannot be competent, 

such as cylinder cover of engine, bush, packing ring and cut tools for ceramic.
