Desiccant

Sealant depth:

In the GB/T11944-2002 Insulating Glass standard, the hypo-sealant depth ranges from 5mm to 7mm. But for frame-hidden curtain wall, the particularity of the structure determines the security caused by the insulating glass Units(IGU) under load bearing, The sealant must be silicone structure sealant and the seam must accord with the safety load design, Under normal conditions, the seam of structure sealant should not be less than 6mm,but not more than the thickness of spacer layer of insulating glass. when the spacer layer is over 12mm, the sealant depth should not be over 13mm, For structure sealant, it is not the deeper, the better.
