Zirconia Toughened Alumina Ceramic
Zirconia Toughened Alumina (ZTA) is high purity alumina mixed with zirconia, making a tougher, stronger material.
Zirconia Toughened Alumina:
Combines the advantages of partially stable zirconia (PSZ) and of alumina
Almost as hard as alumina
Almost as strong as PSZ
From 3 to 10 times more abrasion resistant than high purity alumina.
