What is Eastman Tritan™?

It’s a compelling alternative to traditional polymers, including polycarbonate. Tritan™ balances easy processing with a mix of performance properties, including clarity, toughness, heat resistance and chemical resistance. These offer advantages over polycarbonate and other clear polymers.

A reusable water container made with Eastman Tritan™ copolyester begins with a polymer that is BPA-free — with the durability and chemical resistance to stand up to a long life of repeated washings and reuse cycles. Tritan™ won’t add odor or taste, so you can be confident the water tastes as naturally pure and refreshing as it looks.

Is it Dishwasher Safe?

Our water bottles made from Eastman Tritan™ are dishwasher safe. Tritan™ resists degradation and stress cracking in hot, wet dishwasher environments, even with cleaning solutions, surfactants and alkaline cleaning agents. Like traditional copolyesters, Tritan™ has excellent chemical resistance properties, which allows it to maintain its physical properties when exposed to a broad array of foodstuffs, residential and commercial detergents, and sanitizers.
