Introduction

Hunan Vanguard Group Co., Ltd - its predecessor was Hubei Hanyang Arms Plant found by the governor of Hunan and Guangzhou Mr. Zhang Zhidong in 1890. The total assets of the company is over 1.4 billion, with more than 3000 workers, thereinto 420 technicians are engineers or above titles, and 12 workers enjoy the state council special allowance.

In 2002, the company was re-formatted as Hunan Vanguard Group Co., Ltd., under China South Industries Group Corporation. In 2003, we build the Hydropower Equipment Company, and established the national level research and technology center, do hydropower equipment technology research joining Tsinghua University, Nanjing Hehai University and China IWHR, awarded the “High Tech Enterprise” by Hunan province. We have the ability to manufacture maximum 200MW capacity per unit and 1000MW capacity per year.

Tubular turbine is a good model for hydropower station with extra low water head and extra large water flow, and tidal power generation. It has features of small excavated volume, large passing lfow, high specific speed and high efficiency. According to its structural style, it can be divided into four types: bulb type, pit type, shaft-extension type and hydrocone type. All these types we are able to manufacture.

 The tubular turbine consists of two types: rim-generator and half-tubular turbine.

Half-tubular turbine which is more often used is divided into three types: bulb tubular turbine, shaft-extension tubular turbine and pit type tubular turbine.
