Sodium gluconate is a polyhydroxy carboxylate, also known as: gluconic acid salt. Formula: C6H11O7Na; molecular weight: 218.14; HS code: 2918160000;CAS: 527-07-1. The appearance is white or light yellow crystalline granules or powder, easily soluble in water, slightly soluble in alcohol, insoluble in ether. Mainly used as acid-base balance agents, water quality stabilizer, surface cleaners, concrete admixtures, retarders, antiscalant chemical formula, textile pigment printing binder etc. Sodium gluconate is widely used in industry, such as efficient chelating agent in the construction, textile and metal surface treatment and water treatment and other industries, the steel surface cleaners(anti-scale chemical), glass bottle cleaners, electroplating industry aluminum oxide coloring, in the concrete industry used as efficient retarder, superplasticizer, adhesive for concrete etc.

1.Water treatment admixtures: sodium gluconate has excellent effects in corrosion and scale proof, it is widely used as water quality stabilizer, such as the treatment chemicals in the cooling cycle system in petroch emical field, low pressure boilerandengine cooling water system.

2. Plating metal surface cleaning: as a acid antiscalant(anti-scale chemical/antiscalant chemical formula), sodium gluconate does well in preventing iron, aluminum hydroxide precipitate in solution.

3. Glass bottle exclusive cleaning agent(bottles cleaner/washing chemical): sodium gluconate has a strong detergent ability, without jamming the nozzle and pipe of bottles. Washing waste water conforms to the standards prescribed by state.

4. Concrete additives/concrete admixtures in construction: such as concrete water reducer admixture, concrete retarder, concrete plasticizer and concrete dispersing agent, adhesive for concrete etc.

5. Textile: Used as a green textile pigment printing binder/chelating, dispersant during printing and dyeing.
