The appearance is white or light yellow crystalline granules or powder, easily soluble in water, slightly soluble in alcohol, insoluble in ether. Widely used in industry: such as efficient chelating agents in construction, textile and metal surface treatment and water treatment and others, iron and steel surface cleaners, glass bottle cleaners, aluminum oxide coloring in electroplating industry, retarder and superplasticizer in concrete industry, etc. Sodium gluconate is also used as acid-base balance agents, water quality stabilizer, surface cleaners, cement admixtures, scale inhibitor and so on.
