Calcium lignosulphonate (also named  calcium lignin sulfonate, short for MG-2, HS code:3804000090) extracted for wood pulp, is a natural polymer, and has strong dispersion. As a surface-active substance, it can adsorb on the surfaces of various solid particle. Molecular weight generally between 800-10000, with strong dispersion, bonding, chelate. At present, calcium lignosulphonate widely promoted and applied in resins, rubber, dyes, pesticides, ceramics, cement, asphalt, feed, water treatment, water coal slurry, concrete, refractories, oil drilling, compound fertilizer, smelting, casting, adhesive, chelating agent etc.

Main usages of calcium lignin sulfonate as follow:

1, Used as concrete water reducer in construction industry chemicals: Mixed 0.25-0.3% by weight of cement, water consumption can be reduced by more than 10-14%, improve the workability of concrete, ensure project quality. When summer, could control slump Loss, generally mixed up with superplasticizer.

2, Used as slag binder in smelting industry: mixed with ore, put into kiln after drying. Could improve the smelting recovery greatly.

3, Refractory: when manufacturing refractory brick , used as dispersant and binder, preventing cracking.

4, Ceramics: can reduce the carbon content, increase intensity of green, to improve the yield 70-90%.

5, Used as feed adhesive : improve strength of particle, saving costs.

6, Others: calcium lignosulfonate additives can be used for refining, foundry, wettable powder pesticide processing, coal repression, mining, mineral processing agent selected mining, roads, soil, dust control, leather tanning filler, black granulation, refractory material, chelating agent etc.
