About Us

The name Pan-U was derived from Pan Universal. 

Pan-U was founded in 1978 by Mr. Thomas Chung. Through 30 years of manufacturing and working with numerous customers of various nationalities and locations, the company has acquired exceptional knowledge of the hardware industry as well as important manufacturing experience that will continue to guarantee its steady growth.

With support from a significant number of satellite factories both in Taiwan and China, Pan-U is capable of manufacturing a wide range of unique hardware products which might require stamping, casting, forging, extrusion and so on. Prior to 2004, it specialized in solid brass and bronze, chrome plated brass and bronze, stainless steel and galvanized steel components. The original product line consisted of various types of hardware for architecture & building, gardening as well as electrical fittings, marine hardware and automobile parts, fasteners, CNC parts and other OEM parts.

As a result of the rapid growth in business, Pan-U established a new department in 2004. It has focused its expertise on Marine Hardware products including canopy fittings, fuel connectors, fuel lines, fuel filters, rod holders, paddles, boat hooks, battery accessories, trailer accessories and so forth. In total there are approximately 500 manufactured items for this department alone.

The most distinctive business philosophy at Pan-U is to offer customers better products at affordable prices while maintaining high quality standards and expanding its capabilities. Throughout the years, Pan-U has built up its reputation on its ability to handle high quality, custom made hardware components to satisfy the clients' needs. Offering over 500 Tons of Hardware Monthly
Pan-U Industries monthly ships over 500 tons of automobile and marine components, electrical fittings, commercial refrigeration parts and other related items to clients worldwide. This capacity is made possible by a number of factors. For one thing, we have over 100 production lines in our factory. In addition, we maintain a network of 25 partner factories. Rest assured that we can meet your high-volume orders.

Thorough QC Testing
To ensure precision from the start, we design each item using the latest software. Then, with CNC machines, we manufacture our hardware items from high-quality aluminum, brass, plastic, stainless steel, wood, zinc and other materials. Our 30 QC technicians analyze all of these materials before production to guarantee superior performance. They also carry out specialized thickness, thinness and spray-on tests during production and before shipment to ensure high product acceptance rates.

A 36-year Manufacturer
Presently, around 55 percent of our orders are from OEM clients worldwide. Many of these clients are repeat buyers who recognize the advantages of working with a 36-year-old manufacturer. Factory OEM/ODM Capabilities

We can produce this large volume thanks to a number of factors. For one thing, we have over 600 workers and 100 production lines in our factory. Plus, we maintain a network of 25 satellite factories. So you can rest assured we can complete your high-quantity orders.

Machinery and Equipment Used :

Description of Quality Control/Technical Support Department:

Supplier Capability Assessment by ISO 9001:2000 by ISOQAR and  BV. A variety of thickness and thinness tests are performed to guarantee customer satisfaction. There are also spray-on tests and various metal analyzers to determine the thickness and performance on a layer-by-layer basis. There are in-line QC stations as well as final inspections. Production is monitored to provide the best possible product without creating delays in the delivery schedule.

And we offer QC standards tailored to your
requirements, so cost and performance are always ideally balanced. You’ll also find importation
of our parts easy, since we ship them with NSF, BS, CSA and UL certifications.

Sample Policy

Samples are available in small lots on any of the standard parts and products that Pan-U produces. In larger quantities, samples may be charged at cost. Sample prices may be deducted from the initial order, yet, this must be handled on a case-to-case basis.

Guarantee

Some OEM parts and some plating may be guaranteed. However, environmental conditions may effect metals differently under different plating thicknesses.

Customers visiting Pan-U may arrange to have themselves picked up at the Taipei Chang Kai Shek International Airport or on their arrival in Taichung. Once in Taichung City, the staff at Pan-U will be able to coordinate picking up their customers and taking them to and from the office/factory.
