The EC40E is an outdoor cabinet that integrates access equipment, a temperature control system, batteries, cable distribution, and other components to provide an environment for access equipment to run reliably outdoors. It is a sealed cabinet using a heat exchanger for heat dissipation.

The EC40E outdoor cabinet can be used to house large-capacity integrated access equipment. It provides an environment for equipment such as the MSAG6000/C300 to run reliably outdoors. 

 Product characteristics 

The EC40E is assembled from a number of components, including a cabinet body, doors (including two front doors and a side door), an MDF, and a guide rail. The body and doors adopt a double-layer structure and are made of corrosion resistant plates for heat insulation and to reduce the impact of direct sunlight on the devices in the cabinet. The metal components of the cabinet body have excellent contact, with contact resistance less than 0.1 ohm. There are a laptop tray and a file bag at the inner side of the front doors. All the doors have the function of open-door alerting in tandem. An alarm is generated when any of the doors is abnormally opened. Every door has an M5 grounding screw to connect the grounding cable to the cabinet. The integrated cabinet allows the installation and cabling of a subscriber subrack with front leading-out. It adopts ZTE’s new cable distribution module and provides installation supports for the MDF. The MDF can be directly installed. The cabinet space is divided into the equipment cabin, MDF cabin and battery cabin. The equipment cabin is 27U high; it is used to install such devices as the subscriber frame, power supply unit, cabling rack, and fiber termination box. The external cable, optical cable, power supply and grounding cable are all routed in through the cable inlet at the bottom of the cable distribution cabin.
