1.Product overview

XK-GP1 Analog communication trainer constitutes by signal source module, frequency meter module and 8 pcs training modules. It adopts modular structure, each experiment module can be put flexibly. Each module can realize the fixed functional experiment, and by combining several modules, can realize the system experiment, such as the AM modulation and demodulation, FM modulation and demodulation. The design of the modules is not only focus on measuring the experiment input signal and output signal, but also lay emphasis on measuring and analyzing the experiment intermediate process and intermediate variables. It is suitable for the college students to carry out the high frequency electronic circuit learning and experiment.

4.4 Experiment module and circuit composition is as follows:

   1)Module 2: small signal frequency-selection and amplification module

Includes single tuning amplifying circuit, capacitance coupling double tuning amplifying circuit, integrated frequency-selecting and amplifying circuit, automatic gain control(AGC)and other four kinds circuit.

   2)Module 3: sine wave oscillation and VCO module

Includes LC oscillation circuit, quartz crystal oscillation circuit, voltage controlled LC oscillation circuit, variode frequency regulation circuit and other four kinds circuit.

3)Module 4: amplitude modulation and demodulation module

Includes analog multiplier amplitude modulation(AM, DSB, SSB) circuit, diode peak value envelop detecting circuit, transistor small signal envelop detection circuit, analog multiplier synchronous detection circuit and other four kinds circuit.

   4)Module 5:FM discrimination module 1

Includes orthogonal frequency discrimination(product type phase discrimination)circuit, phase-locked frequency discrimination circuit, basic phase-locked loop and other three kinds circuit.

5)Module 7: frequency mixing and frequency conversion module

Include diode double balanced frequency mixing circuit, analog multiplier frequency mixing circuit

6)Module 8: high frequency power amplifying module

Includes non-linear C class power amplifying circuit, linear wideband power amplifying circuit, integrated linear wideband power amplifying circuit, collector amplitude modulation circuit and other four kinds circuit.

   7)Module 9: Radio module

Includes transistor frequency conversion, AM radio ,FM radio

8)Module 10:comprehensive module

Includes loudspeaker and music film amplifying circuit, audio power amplifier circuit, antenna and half-duplex circuit, frequency divider circuit and other four kinds circuit.

8)In order to facilitate the students to understand the FM superheterodyne radio principle, the system adopts open type superheterodyne framework, the students can build their own circuit through several modules, to realize FM radio’s function, rather than through monolithic integration IC to realize the FM radio.
