Alcohol Resistant Film Forming Fluoroprotein Foam Extinguishing Agent is made with fluoroprotein foam as basic material and compounded proper amount of fluorochemical surfactant.

The film foaming fluoroprotein extinguishing agent is widely used to put out flammable hydrocarbon and polar solvent liquid fires.

Fluoroprotein provides a tough cohesive foam blanket with high resistance to heat.

Fluorochemical surfactant combined with the protein base produce a vapour-sealing aqueous film on hydrocarbons that provides the same fast control and extinguishment.

On polar solvents an insoluble polymer membrane is formed which protects the foam blanket from the solvent.

Proportioning rate:
FFFP/ AR 3%   3 parts protein foam concentrate to 97 parts water.
FFFP/ AR 6%   6 parts protein foam concentrate to 94 parts water.

Application:
Ideal to use in high risk situations where hydrocarbons( such as crude oil, gasoline, diesel fuel, aviation kerosene) and/ or polar solvents( such as alcohols, ketones, esters, and ethers) are stored, processed, or transported.

It is used extensively by industrial and municipal fire departments.

Typical include hydrocarbon storage tanks, process areas, warehouses, road/ rail loading racks, power stations, marine terminals, and offshore platforms.

Package and Storage:

a. Our foam package is available in 200-liter drum with wooden pallet. Other packing can be satisfying as per our customer’s requirements.

b. The extinguishing agent shall be stored at a cool, dry and well-ventilated room with the ambient temperature between -5℃~45℃.

c. Avoid mixing with other chemicals or extinguishing agents during transportation and storage.
