Applications

Fused Cast High Zirconia Block is made of artificial synthesis of high pure raw material, which are through special casting process by melting the raw material in the mold at temperatures in excess of 2700°C in an electric arc furnace, then cooling and solidification. The crystalline texture is consisting of baddeleyite and ZrO2 is more than 89%.

Zirconia is very thermally stable to high temperatures (excellent thermal shock resistance), has low thermal conductivity This product has dense structure, high temperature resistance, high abrasion resistance, strong corrosion resistance and low pollution to glass liquid, etc.

TY-Z can be used in a wide range of glass furnace, especially high quality and special glass furnaces such as TV glass, borosilicate glass, alumina silicate glass, halogen lighting glass, opal glass and fiber glass. TY-Z are mainly consisting of TY-Z88-WS and TY-Z95-WS, and used in sidewall, throat cover, throat support, electrode block, dam block parts.
