Rubber Bridge Bearing has enough vertical stiffness to support vertical load, and it could deliver the pressure of superstructure to abutment.

(a) Common Plate Type Rubber Bridge Bearing is divided into rectangular Plate Type Rubber Bridge Bearing (code name GJZ) and circular Plate Type Rubber Bridge Bearing (code name GYZ);

(b)PTFE Plate Type Rubber Bridge Bearing is divided into rectangular PTFE Plate Type Rubber Bridge Bearing (code name GJZF4) and circular PTFE Plate Type Rubber Bridge Bearing (code name GYZF4).

Bearing of Bridge Divided into the following according to bearing material and applicable temperature:

 (a) Normal temperature Plate Type Rubber Bridge Bearing: It should be made of chloroprene rubber (CR), applicable temperature -25ºC~60ºC. Natural rubber cannot replace chloroprene rubber, and natural rubber cannot be mixed in chloroprene rubber.

(b) Cold-resistant Plate Type Rubber Bridge Bearing: It should be made of natural rubber (NR), applicable temperature -40ºC~60ºC.

Structure of Bearing of Bridge:

Plate Type Rubber Bridge Bearing is made of multiple layers of rubber sandwiched with and bound to thin steel sheets, and then through vulcanization. The vertical rigidity of the Plate Type Rubber Bridge Bearing is sufficient to bear the perpendicular load and to shift the pressure reliably from the superstructure to the piers. The elasticity of the Plate Type Rubber Bridge Bearing is high enough to suit the rotation of the beam end. The shear deformation of the Plate Type Rubber Bridge Bearing is sufficient to cope with the horizontal displacement of the superstructure.
