1.Structure:
MTL series coupling is the twist elastic coupling, the failure protection function, it can effectively reduce the vibration and shock produced by movement. The claw gear of two axle sleeve in circumferential direction are staggered each half of the pitch, and then put a involute quincunx elastomer into its clearance
When the axial have deviation during installation, elastomer drum gear has avoid the stress concentration. And it Can effectively correct the installation deviation of axial, radial and angula.
2.Character:
Generally the elastomer in the middle of elastic coupling bear the bending force and pressure, it’s easy to wear and tear, but MTL series coupling elastomer only bear pressure, thus it can bear larger load. Any specifications of the MTL series coupling’s maximum torsional Angle can reach 5 °. So it Can be horizontal or vertical installation. Basic series have round hole and cone hole (1:10) series sleeve form:
1,with keyway and fastening screw
2,fastening screw without keyway
3,clamp shaft sleeve(single groove)with keyway
4,clamp shaft sleeve(single groove)without keyway
3.Technical data
4.Classify:
1.0 type with key slot and fastening screw
Key slot positioning connects the transmission. Allowable transmission torque depends on allowable surface stress of the key slot. Occasion with requirements on positive & negative transmission without no backlash is not appropriate.
1.1 type without key slot but with fastening screw
Power transmission with connection with hot pressing or adhesive between shaft and shaft sleeve (which does not comply with explosion-proof requirements).
2.0 type clamping single slot without key slot
The clamping connecting transmission torque depends on diameter of shaft hole (only complies with ATEX Grade 3);
2.1 type clamping single slot with key slot
Power transmission of clamping connection with key slot; friction clamping torque can avoid or reduce positive &negative backlash as well as reduce surface stress of key slot.
4.1 type clamping type with Z11 locking assemble
locking assemble connection can transmit general torque.
5.0 type clamping type with Z12A/Z13 locking assemble
locking assemble connection can transmit larger torque. The maximum locking assemble that can be installed depends on maximum internal diameter of the shaft sleeve. Bolt of locking assemble can be installed on internal end or outside. Please refer to catalog of locking assemble for detailed calculation.
6.0 type locking assemble anti-clamping
Shaft sleeve and locking assemble are integrated together so as to transmit higher torque. Locking bolt is installed on the elastomer side. Please refer to MXF series for detailed transmission torque and size, which are suitable for high speed application.
6.5 type locking assemble clamping
This type is similar to 6.0 type. However, locking assemble bolt can be installed on the external side. It is suitable for radial disassembling of middle pipeline (special design).
