Working principle of hammer crusher
Hammer crusher mainly depend on the impact to crush raw material. The brief crush process is: when material be put into crusher, it be crushed by the impact of high speed rotation of hammer, the crushed material got the kinetic energy from hammer, thus high speed rush at the damper and grate bar. At the same time, the materials impact one other thus being multiple crushing. The material size less than the clearance between grate bars are discharged from the clearance. Some big material is impacted, grinded, extruded by the hammer to being crushed. The finished material is extruded from the clearance so that get the need granularity of material. The hammer crusher has reversible and no-reversible two types. The rotor rotation direction of reversible type could be reversible, it is usually used in fine grinding; the rotor rotation direction of no-reversible type could not be reversible, it is used in mid level grinding.
