Precautions:

1.Using band aid on small and deep wound is not conducive to the wound secretions and pus discharge. It will make bacterial grow and reproduce, cause or aggravate infections, are particularly vulnerable to infection and other anaerobic tetanus bacilli.

2.The phenomenon of skin ulceration after water scald not use the Band-Aid, otherwise secretions trigger infection.

3.When a foreign body inside the wound, not immediately apply a Band-Aid, but should go to the hospital after debridement or remove the foreign body wrap treatment. Some wounds serious pollution, and even infection has occurred, the more you can not use the Band-Aid to cover the wound, otherwise it will cause or aggravate infections.

4.If the wound is accidental injury nails, razor blades and blade on top of rust, you can not use the Band-Aid. Be sure to clean and keep the wound exposed to prevent infection.

5.The wound is scratched or bitten by an animal, and if you use a Band-Aid, will lead to accumulation of bacteria in the wound or diffusion

6.There are a Band-Aid or tape allergies who should choose other methods to stop bleeding, or choose a special hypoallergenic tape.
