      You now have the ability to perform your own Supercritical CO2 extractions. This DANZY-30 IS a quality engineered, entry level Supercritical Fluid Extractor (SFE). It offers many of the features typical of commercial SFE equipment, but at an affordable price. Its tabletop size is ideal for batch testing, home essential oil extraction, and even small scale critical point drying.

It’s simple to use, safe, convenient, and easy to clean. Requiring far less in the way of power, it is  can be used most anywhere. The extractor is user serviceable. With controls for temperature and pressure you can precisely manage conditions for your ideal extraction. With increasing interest in CO2 extracted oils, you can get to the forefront of affordable SFE technology.    We also offer an add-on expansion kit to existing users. It is a two product kit which includes both the size expanding Rack, as well as the AutoPilot which automates a large portion of the pressure regulation. The Rack increases per-run capacity from one ounce to four ounces. It is offered as a special order product, and all Rack sales are final. For this reason, we require the purchase of a basic DANZY-30 first, so that the user can have a couple of successful runs and be sure it will meet their needs. 

Why Supercritical CO2

CO2 is non-toxic, relatively inert, nonflammable, and inexpensive; it’s considered a GRAS (generally recognized as safe) solvent. Because of these properties, this is the most effective way to extract the purest botanical essences. It is the only natural solvent process that does not introduce any additional chemicals. Therefore, it requires no additional processing to purge any solvent residue typical of hydrocarbon solvents. Supercritical CO2 is also highly selective. Changing the exact pressure and temperature settings allows you to have a targeted extract profile.
