Spray-type Orthopedic Splint Materials

Operation:

1.Choose suited size of splint to the different parts.

After opening the package, immerse the splint in normal temperature(21-24°C) water

 for 4-6 seconds and squeeze 2-3 times.

Squeeze out or remove excess water with towel after taking out from the water.

2.Apply 1-2 layers stockinet over the affected body part and additional padding can be used.

3.Wrap spirally, overlapping the previous layer by one-half or two-thirds the width of the roll.

To maintain proper tension is very important.

Take care to avoid excessive tightness.

4.Make shape according to the requests.

HDT splint is sufficiently cured to pervert futher molding in 3-5 minutes

after immersion in the water.

So application should be finished in the set time.

Allow about 10 minutes for sufficient cure and

let patients do not move during this time.

HDT splint may be dismantled by the manner of cutting the stockinet or the ordinary people.

The operator should wear gloves to

avoid the polyurethane touching and adhering the skin.

Open one bag at one time and use the splint immediately.

Don't open multi-bag at the same time,

so that to avoid weakening the strength.

Pay attention to avoid breakage of the bags during transportation and

storage.

Be careful not to break the packing.

Storage at room temperature.
