This earth fault and short circuit indicator is a combination earth fault and short circuit faults.

  This indicator operates in middle voltage radial networks with one input.The earth fault current in resistance earthed or fixed earthed networks must be 10 A as a minimum.This indication syetem should be installed in earth branch of the network.

  The fault can be indicated as follows:

  a)short circuit-with one LED for every cone

  b)earth fault-with one LED

  c)one remote indication for earth fault and short circult,or for earth fault and short circuit separatly

  The earth fault and short circuit indicator summarizes two ways of fault search:

  1.)Detection short circuits.

  2.)Detection of earth faults.
