Product Description
lock installation kit for door is guarateed with hole saw and an auger bit for pilot hole that comes with a cup type hole saw with a auger bit for iarger lock hole and a wood flat bit for latch hole. It will served well for the task when it go hand in hand with electric drill, screw driver, chisel and hammer beside this kit.
1Mark knob center from the edge of door edge with the template provided. If there is no template,mark knob center accordingly to dimensions as shown in manuals.
2For large lock set hole, drill halfway through door using hole saw and with pilot drill in the center as a guide. Finish off by drilling through from the other side of door.
3For latch hole. drill 7/8"(22mm) past lock hole using the wood flat bit.
4Insert latch to mark out latch edges and chisel off out marked area until latch plate can be flush with door's edge. Then install the latch.
Install outside door knob, make sure spindle goes through the latch or lock tongue is engaged in the latch grooves. Install inside door knob, make sure it is align with outside door knob before attaching.
5Set strike plate in place.
