Specifications and data

 SD Rotary Slips can accommdate drill pipe from 2³/8 to 5¹/2 inch(60.3-139.7mm)O.D..

They are classified as type Short(SDS), Medium(SDML) and Extra Long(SDXL) according to gripping length.

1.SDS slips are designed for shallow hole drilling;

2.SDML slips are the perfect choice for all medium depth drilling;

3.SDXL slips are desinged for deep drilling.

Operational requirement and points for attention:

1)The collar slips inserts should be replaced entirely in time once found it is worn out. Be careful do not use the old slip inserts with the new one at the same time in order to avoid damages to inserts, slips body or drill collar.

2)Remove the harden granules away from the bushings cone surface to reduce the wearness on the cone surface.

3)Often check the wear condition of the bushings cone surface,and measure the diameter at the small end of the cone surface.If the size is large than 270mm due to abrasion, it should be replaced in time to sviod the dropping of the slip into the well once collar slips has a smaller holding dimension.

4)When the drill collar slips are not in use for a longer time, the slips should be cleaned and coated with antirustic oil and placed in a dry place with good ventilation.

5)The back cone can not be repaired for further using once it is seriously worn out. This factory is not responsible for any accident caused by the fact that the slips holding quality is affected by the self repairing of the old back cone.

Packing: Drill pipe slips will be packed by wooden box.

Shipping:Drill pipe slips will be shipped by sea or by air.

If there is no packing demand we take it as sea-way packing.

Answer :
The lead time depend on quantity of order. Usually shipped by sea, small order or urgent order we can send you by air after received your agreement.
According the distance from china to your port, usually from China to European about 25 days. To West of American 20 days.
