GW-129 Self-supporting FTTx Cable Slitter is especially designed for stripping off the steel strength member of the self-supporting FTTx cable.
With the development of the FTTH (Fiber To the Home) construction, more FTTx cables are used in the last mile of FTTH construction. And how to strip off the steel strength member of a self-supporting cable has become a big problem. Using a traditional method to strip the strength member off, the fiber can be easily damaged or the strength member can hardly be removed. To solve the problem described above, GW-129 Self-supporting FTTx Cable Slitter comes to us. With the special tool, operator can easily remove the strength member without damaging any fibers.
