Mizupita is the new type of sandless sandbag.

This product expands to 20 times just by soaking in water and prevent from being inundated by a flood

It is lightweight and thin, and doesn’t need big storage.

Easy to dispose since it will become the original size after using it.

Mizupita can be used in both fresh water and seawater.

How to use

1. For inflating the products in advance, prepare the container having a size to contain MIZUPITA, and inflate them by soaking in water and tie them together with the rope.
2. Since the product expands in turbid water during the flood, use them in a same way as mentioned above.
3. Fresh water model type N expands in 3 minutes in fresh water. Seawater/ fresh water universal type H expands in 3 minutes in seawater, 1 minute in fresh water.
   (In the case of inflating them with fresh water, the products can be overly inflated and cause gap between each sandbags when they are stacked.)
4. You can enhance water protection effect, by stacking universal type and fresh water model one after another.
5. Fresh water model should be used with tapped water, river water, lake or pond water or water without salt which are density of 1.
6. To prevent sandbags from being carried away, tie each sandbags with the rope or stuck them higher than water surface.
7. In the case that there is stream (less than 0.5m/sec), use Weighted G type.
8. Data is based on the temperature of 20 degree Celsius. Efficiency will drastically deteriorate in case of extremely low water temperature.

Expiration date

Use the products within 3 years after the production date. After that, efficiency will deteriorate and they might not expand during emergency. Store them in a cool area, out of direct sunlight.

The efficient use of water absorbent material

As efficient use, after using in fresh water, mix water absorbent material around 5% in soil for flower or plant (flowerpot). They will work as water retaining material and reduce the need to water. If the product used in seawater, water absorbent material can NOT be used as above.

The efficient use of water absorbent material

1. Polymer is dehydrated and deflated by drying under direct sunlight for 1-3 weeks. Polymer and bag can be dispose as general waste.
2. Prepare the container having a size to contain one bag of MIZUPITA. Open the bag and pour 2 litters of water mixed with 130g of dehydration auxiliary material and mix them thoroughly. The content get turbid first, then as time passes it will separate to transparent water and polymer. Water can be discharged to sewer, and Polymer and bag can be disposed as general garbage.

The efficient use of water absorbent material

Although water absorbing resin (Polymer) is harmless, in case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice

If inhaled or swallowed, get medical attention immediately.

Reuse of this product is not recommended. (Ability is deteriorated significantly after using once.
