The AP8202 is an audio enhancement processor based on SRS Labs' WOW patented technology. WOW is a combination of SRS 3D, FOCUS, and TruBass; that creates a thrilling surround sound experience with deep rich bass from any stereo sound source.

With WOW technology, AP8202 makes up for the limitation inherent in smaller speakers and headphones by providing a panoramic 3D audio image that extends the sound in both the horizontal and vertical planes well beyond the speakers or headphones themselves. In addition, AP8202 also offers dramatic improved bass tones that are often lost during compression or unable to be delivered by small speakers.
