       OptiX Metro 1000 product is a new generation of STM-1/STM-4 compatible multi-service transmission equipment , it provides the STM-1/STM-4 optical transmission synchronization function, its line rate can be upgraded online from STM-1 to STM-4. OptiX Metro 1000 product provides rich business interfaces and the powerful capability of cross-connection.

the configuration of OptiX Metro 1000 is quite flexible. Each NE can not only be configured as a single STM-1/4 TM or ADM system but also can be configured as the combination of STM-1 and STM-4 interfaces, which is a multi-ADM system, and it can realize cross-connection of multi-systems; when accessing the data traffic, it can configurate transmission bandwidth and Ethernet port effectively based on users’ need, and can meet user’s increased demand for bandwidth without increasing the port and veneer.

Flexible networking
OptiX Metro 1000 provides a variety of network formation ways, supports a variety of network topologies, including point-to-point, chain, ring, ring with chain, intersecting rings, tangent rings, mesh-shaped etc..

OptiX Metro 1000 supports a variety of network-level protection ways, including the MSP protection mode, SNCP protection mode, PP protection mode, as well as shared fiber virtual path protection mode, the clock protection, power supply unit 1 +1 protection and many other device level protection ways.

Flexible DCC transmission mode
Through the external clock port to transfer the DCC information on our equipment; to support DCC pass-through network management information transmission equipment of other companies; the network management interface can also be connected to the Ethernet interface board to transmit network management information.

OptiX Metro 1000 and OptiX series products adopt a unified network management platform for centralized operation, maintenance and management (OAM), to make sure the circuit configuration and scheduling, and secure network operation.

Excellent SSM management functions
OptiX Metro 1000 NE clock has the perfect SSM management functions. Its external synchronization port can directly receive synchronization information from the external timing device, its output port also has the SSM, and can flexibly set the bit where the external 2048kbit / s SSM signal SSM exists. It can input the 2MHz signal to the outside and manually set the SSM messages, easy docking with other manufacturers’s equipment . Additionally, it can set the SSM threshold of each network element to facilitate the management of synchronization network.

A superior clock synchronization performance
ituses a high-precision crystal as an internal oscillating source , and uses a specialized clock processing chip, to ensure that the technical indicators is in full compliance with the requirements of the ITU-T G.813 recommends. The timing system can work in tracking mode, hold mode and free oscillation mode. The timing system provides the SSM function. When being worked in tracking mode, it can be arbitrarily selected line, branch, one of the external clock synchronization source as a reference clock source; through various priority clock functions, to ensure reliable operation of the network timing system.
