Characteristics: its corrosion resistance than 304 stainless steel wire rope, and 316 stainless steel wire rope is also resistant to aggressive industrial marine and atmospheric erosion. In addition 316 stainless steel wire rope with good resistance to oxidation. Can intermittent use at 871 ℃ (1600 ℉) or less and a continuous use at 927 ℃ (1700 ℉) or less. In the range of 427 ℃ -857 ℃ (800 ℉ -1575 ℉), it is best not continuous use 316 stainless steel wire rope, but continuous use in outside this temperature range, 316 stainless steel wire rope has good heat resistance. Also 316L stainless steel milk carbide precipitation performance better than the 316 stainless steel, 316L stainless steel wire rope and therefore can be used in the above temperature range.
